    Settings Steps for Manually Approving New Registered Users?

    I'm being slammed by Register Bots. Using google new register protection, but it's not working. Can anyone tell me the steps to take and where in the ADMIN account (setting steps) so that I can MANUALLY ACCEPT newly registered users? So that they can not just automatically register for a new account. Please Help! Thanks
