    Slug instead of ID

    Hello, i have posted this thread earlier as well and again posting it.

    We have $cat_id = appthemes_get_custom_taxonomy($post->ID, 'ad_cat', 'term_id'); in classipress to call a certain ad post. I m looking to call the ad-category by Slug name instead of ID. Can any one here help me with that?
