SM-Stiicky posts Problem plz heeeeellllllp !!!

1st of all I must thank Seth Carstens for his great free plugin.

I just got a lil problem. I have installed SM- Sticky plugin and to be honest 's really oooool. but there's a problem with it. when u check the item "Only show sticky posts of the post category & sub categories?" , it lists the posts in the very sub-category but I think it is no good for small websites. u know, I need the plugin to list the posts of the parent category. lemme give u an example to make it more clear :

supposing there r 3 sub categories under the parent category "Car" as follows :

Cars
.......... Benz
.......... BMW
.......... Hunda

when the user is reading the details of a Benz car , I need the plugin to list all featured posts of the Cars category (not only "Benz" category).
