State field IS NOT FLEXIBLE
State field (cp_state) is a core classipress field.
But we have a problem here. How if we create Classfied for Global community.
The nationality/country of the poster could be from anywhere in the world: ie. Peru, Brazil, Indonesia, Taiwan, Vanuatu, Bangladesh, South Africa, etc.
The problem is cp_state is Locked ! it is drop-down field and the field values ARE ALL US states. I don't think I am willing to put all states/provinces from all nations. It will look odd and confusing and a lot of work too.
Feasible solution : I want to mod the state field to text-box and leave it blank, so the Poster has flexibility to input State/Province name.
Would that be a revise in CP 3.1 regarding to this issue?
