Sub category list too long need scroll box

Hi. I have the classified theme and I was wondering if there is a way to have a scroll box for the sub categories. Right now I have the categories which are fine the way they are but my subcategory list is too long and i am not not near finished with yet.
How would I make a scroll box say about 200x200 px in size or what ever, with the scroll bar on it's side so people can scroll the list.
Say I have category; animals; subcategories, fish, dogs, horses, cats, etc: Sub categories; breed; Malamute, Chihuahua, Akita, German shepherd, Great dane, etc, down the list about 150 breeds or more which makes it a very long drop down on the page to the bottom. How would I make this list a scroll box or search box?
