third-party email on classipress contact form doesnt work
I contacted my hosting service to open the smtp port so that third-party emails can be used on my Classipress site. However, they were not able to rectify the problem. Below is the email from them:
"We have thoroughly investigated the case and have some updates concerning it for you.
Firstly, we should inform you that we were unable to reconfigure the advertisement form to send main from third-party email address, unfortunately.
We have checked Classipress Custom Email plugin configuration files and found no settings to update the 'From' field and specify the default address.
Later, we've disabled the plugin trying to send mail using this form and the issue was still present. We assume that the sending option is inbuilt in Classipress theme, but not regulated by the plugin in question.
We should inform you that code-debugging and web-development areas are out of scope of our support. Thus, we suggest contacting the developers of this theme for deeper insight into this case.
If any new information will be discovered, we will gladly assist you further adjusting the settings appropriately. "
