Using Paid Memberships Pro with Classipress

I want to make my Classipress ads subscription access only and have installed Paid Memberships Pro plugin to do this.

I have used the plugin before and it works well but for some reason it won't protect the Categories page. If I create a new page and select any of the Classipress Page Templates apart from the Categories one it works fine.

Any ideas how I can get around this?
