vBulletin to ClassiPress
Hey all, first time ClassiPress (CP) user and was wondering if someone could give me some advice. I have already done a lot of searching on this subject and can't seem to find an answer that will work, so sorry if this has been asked/answered before.
I am currently redesigning a classifieds website that has been using vBulletin (
vB) and wanted to know if there was a way to bring over all the threads/posts? The new site will be using CP and replacing the
VB one so a 'bridge' is not really the solution (I think).
I have exported the
vB thread +
post tables, as well as the CP
wp_post table to compare them and see if there was a simple way to merge the information from
vB and import them into wp_post. However, it's not going to be very simple at all...
Any information/guidance would be greatly appreciated. I have already tried to contact gConverter to assist with this but have not received a reply in about a week or so.
