    website up the search engine ranks

    I figured out most thing in the classipress theme in regards to customization , the part i am struggling with big time is how to promote my website to search engine.
    read and install http://forums.appthemes.com/wordpress-search-engine-optimization-yoast-%7C-xml-11073/
    C    an anyone point me in teh right direction / explain how and what to do /
    I understand this is not an issue with the theme as such but still help would be really appreciated
