Do you know everything about classipress and indexing? PLEASE HELP!!

Hello,

I am using yoast plugin. I only want to index normal pages like home,contact , about us and also my ads that people published and my categories.

Right now my website has 400 ads, but google index 700 pages. Some pages that I don't want indexed is still showing in google(700 instead of 400).

However yoast has a lot of options, and I can choose to not index some pages, but I am using google XML sitemap to create mysitemap(A different plugin,not yoast) ,
but will by options in yoast still make a difference in terms of indexing? I am only using yoast for meta descriptions so far.

Please describe these terms and tell me what to index and what not to(They are all options in yoast):

6 * Archive For Custom Post Types
7 * Custom Post Type Ads
