Your strategies you use for your established Classifieds.
Posting this thread for ideas and insights.
There is many outlets for users in the advertising markets and listings sectors out there. The monsters like Facebook and Craigslist, Letgo/GumTree. Then small niche Classifieds that are very specific. Most of us try to stay in the niche markets which makes a ton of sense. We went after Facebook though. I hope I have been detailed in our thoughts and methods in previous post that are easily searched for so the purpose of this thread isn’t about our strategies and our vision it’s about yours.
What type of Classifieds do you have? A nich or like us a broad local listing site. What methods do you use to gain listings. ( Seems to be our biggest hurdle) How do you attract loyal repeat users? How do you keep bringing your users back to you Site? How have you embraced the mobile market and have you managed to get users to add you to their mobile device? How do you use social media to your advantage? Is social media crucial to your site? Basically what have you learned and how can you help others by contributing your insights on this thread.
