Background image in Header

I've been trying everything to do this – hoping someone can help me.

I would like the entire header area to have a background image in it, keeping the login and rss links in the same position, but floating on top/above the background header graphic.

Can anyone help with some code snippets or something? Thanks in advance.

You might want to look in the showcase & feedback forum. There are a couple of guys there who did something similar who might be able to help.

I can help you with this, what version of Classipress are you using?

I have an older site still using 2.8, but I'll also want to do it with 2.9. Though it appears the large header text has been replaced by a graphic in 2.9.

Do you have a link to your site, I can play with the code and make it what you want.

Please can some help. I want to customize my header in classipress 3.0. I have a designed header.jpeg file on my computer. How do i go head to make this appear on my classipress site header. Thanks in advance for your support.
