Convert old post to classipress

is that possible to move my previous wp classifieds/post to classipress ? my classifieds : all register user become author, so everyone can post ….

is that possible for me to convert all old post/classifieds for this theme ? or how to automatic add [description][/description] in to my old post ?

cause post with out [description][/description] won't appear in front end and is nearly impossible for me to add this due to few thousand AD in db (i try this in my friend Classipress, only title appear, all description disappear).

second question :
Is that possible to make Prices, location, EMail to optional and at the front page only show Item name and post date ...
cause my current classifieds without all this info ...

Theoretically it can be done but its a lot of work to convert all your posts to ClassiPress format.
I wouldn't recommend it.

So is that possible for those post make inside "Admin add post" with auto [description] content here [/description] ? cause i use syn for my post update .... thanks

Sonny, the latest version of classipress will be changing and using custom fields instead of adding everything into the post description area. I'd recommend holding off until you get this version b/c it will be easier to migrate everything over at once.

v2.8 is here, which means i can purchase and have no issue with my previous post right ???

SonnyCooL, if you have previously purchased ClassiPress then you will get the v2.8 upgrade for free. There will be some manual post migration work but it's not too difficult. I will be sending out an email later this week with instructions on how to do this.
