editing posts via page instead of wp-admin

Anyone know how to add the "edit ad" link for a user if the ad belongs to him/her?

e.g. my name's user1, and posted an article. I want to be able to see the edit ad link when i view my ad, instead of going all the way to the admin dashboard. However, I do not want user2 or any other users to see this "edit ad" link.

Anyone out there that can help me out?

    Cheers,
    -jp

    ps. im using classipress 2.8.2

That would have to be a custom function.

You could use the default WordPress function "edit_post_link" but that will take the author into the WordPress back office to edit the post instead of the ClassiPress post edit page.

That's a feature I might consider adding to the next version of CP.

    That would be great man!
I think it's very important for the user because I let some people who aren't tech savvy at all use the site and some found the learning curve a bit hard(wordpress dashboard).

Adding a edit button like this would be great.
