    Edits done to .php files through admin area are not working.

    When I make changes to the php files through the wp admin area the changes do nothing. To test the files to the max I completely deleted the code in the footer.php for I know that if you do this it will destroy the sites framework.

    Well....when I did this (deleted all the code and pressed update) I checked the site in a browser I never use to make sure that my cookies and cache were cleaned out and the site did not change one bit.

    I checked the site with firefox and IE 8(w/e the latest version is) and the changes did not happen.

    The ONLY way that I can edit the .php files is when I go in through my FTP and download the file to my computer then re-upload it via FTP.

    Please, I know most of the lingo, if you think you can even remotely point me into the right direction to getting this fixed I would be most appreciated.

    I had a friend set it up for me a few weeks ago and so I'm thinking that it could be an install issue but I'm not sure.

    Ok. After I left you that last reply I figured out what the issue was. I went in via FTP and say that he installed the theme twice.

    I have no idea how he did that. He installed the theme in the public_html folder, then installed in again within the Classipress folder!

    PLEASE delete the URL in my earlier post for SEO reasons.
