    Fatal Error

I get a fatal error when trying to activate the Breadcrumb "Admin" plugin that came with CP.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /home/busines1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/breadcrumb-navxt/breadcrumb_navxt_admin.php on line 49

I am not able to activate the breadcrumb at this point.

    Any ideas?

me too. I had the error since 2.8 version.

I thought that I wasn't important for the time being. Would like to find a solution on how to fix the problem.

There are 2 sections to the plugin that need to be active. Try activating the other first.

    Re: Fatal Error

    Still no luck.

The install tutorial states not to activate the core and says nothing about activating the admin either.

    Re: Fatal Error

For the breadcrumb to work, activate the "Breadcrumb NavXT - Adminstration Interface" plugin.

Do not activate the other one "Breadcrumb NavXT - Core"

Tried that and I get the following:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_STRING, expecting T_OLD_FUNCTION or T_FUNCTION or T_VAR or '}' in /home/busines1/public_html/wp-content/plugins/breadcrumb-navxt/breadcrumb_navxt_admin.php on line 49

    Re: Fatal Error

Check out the FAQ on the plugin site. It sounds like the problem is you are not running in a PHP5 environment. Check with your webhost on how to upgrade to PHP5.

    Re: Fatal Error

    Ok, that's the not problem.

PHP5 is installed on the server - and the plugin works for my other CP sites, just the latest site is having trouble with it.

Is it possible to uninstall and reinstall - that process seems to work most of the time.
