Account Activation Emails Sent Using The Plugin Are Treated As Spam

I seem to have a major problem with the Confirm Email plugin now, in that virtually all the confirmation emails are not delivered.
Instead they are bounced back with the error:
SMTP error from remote mail server after end of data: 550 This message has been reported as spam by other users.

I have had lengthy support conversations with my website hosts, but basically because I am able to send other emails from the account in question and that it is only these activation emails that are being treated as spam, there is nothing further that they can do.

Is there anything that can be done to enhance the validity of the account confirmation email? It has been suggested that changing the wording, or adding more detail to it, may be the way forward. However, since there are no plugin settings to change the text am I unsure how to proceed.

Any assistance would be most welcome as at present it is looking like I may have to scrap using this plugin.
