can login without activation

same problem. Just installed the plugin, and registered a new user. The new user gets the email to activate the account, but without clicking on the link, I access and succesfully login in the site. On the other side when I try to create a new ad, the system returns a message saying It's not allowed to send ads.
This is contradictory, as in the description of the plugin it says "Confirm Email will send a confirmation email and the only time it will actually “create” the account for the user if the email address is confirmed." but obviously, if the user can log in, it's because there is an account created, and this way spam accounts cannot be prevented.
I have Classipress 4.9.8, and childtheme Flatron 1.3
Please let us know how to fix the problem
