Activation date vs Bump Date vs Bumped day vs Payment date
This is something I noticed about the Ad bump recurring cycle option.
TimeZone in
WP is accurate (Universal time is 2020-01-18 19:28:04. Local time is 2020-01-18 14:28:04)
Live example on one site:
Ad was activated on 12/19/2019 11:57 AM
Bump Ad (included)
Start Date: 12/19/2019
Expires on: Never
Yet
Today (January 18) I noticed the Ad was already bumped
Technicality
30 days counting from December 19 (inclusively) would fall on January 17
30 days counting from December 19 (exclusively) would fall on January 18
In this case, I presume CP Addons is calculating 30 days exclusively from the Activation date, alright.
The only issue is, the ad is already Bumped yet the payment has not been processed yet given the initial payment was done on the 19'th of the previous month and the payment gateway deducts on the 19'th of every month, or are they wrong in doing so? As in, the payment gateway should deduct every 30 days and not on the same monthly date of the initial activation?
What would be your input/suggestions/feedback in regards to this situation?
