2 problems with the plugin

1) how can I set the maximum distance instead of 100miles to 500 miles on the slider , or can I have a minimum miles box and maximum box filled in by user instead?

2) at no point am I being asked to allow location .so the city box isn't getting auto filled in . if I type the city into the box in refine searches then it all works well.

edited to just to state I know I can click the 100 and manualy enter the distance but that is not obvious to a user I only found out by looking through these threads and nosying at other users sites.
