Apply with LinkedIn Discontinued after July 31
On June 19 LinkedIn announced it will stop supporting its 'Apply with LinkedIn' functionality in its current state as of July 31. This means that the 'Apply with LinkedIn' feature will stop working after July 31.
If you're aware of these changes you might know that LinkedIn are making a new API available to replace their existing integration method. However, this is something that can no longer be used on job board sites. Aside from the technical changes required to use the new API, LinkedIn have updated their terms and conditions of use. They now state the following...
“Apply with LinkedIn is only available for companies to allow active job candidates to apply using their LinkedIn profile on the company's career site, whether that's a direct integration or via an applicant tracking system. Job boards and other sites that aggregate job listings across multiple companies are not legally permitted to use our APIs.”
Essentially LinkedIn are only making it available for companies to use on their own internal careers sites not for recruitment agencies and job boards who post jobs on behalf of other companies.
This means that unfortunately the Apply with LinkedIn function will regrettably become obsolete from the end of this July.
