Adding subsections and cities - please help!

Hi,

Although I have seen several similar questions (some dated more than a year ago), I am still not able to find a definitive answer to the question.

I would like to add cities option in both ad posting and in ad search feature as I believe, in most of the cases, people will want to search for classifieds in their local city.

So my question is, how do I do that?

For example, I want to have either one of the following permalinks:

1. mysite.com/new-york/cars
2. mysite.com/cars/new-york

Where users can select the sections while posting ad and also visitors can search through the selected city.
