Advert removing

Hello,

I managed to remove the apptheme advert on the right hand side of the site (just below the login, dashboard, etc sections). I was wondering if it is possible to replace it with a text file? I also managed to get the name of my website on the left hand side but would like where the apptheme adverts was to have the location that is specific to my site. eg. London or Paris, etc as I plan to have several locations. Is that possible? Thanks again for your help.
