    Creating a child theme

    Good day,

I have noticed some of the theme edits I have to do on clasipress require the use of a child theme.
However, I am a novice at coding and would just like a brief guide on how to set one up.
I would prefer to make editor changes in child theme as this is what is forums are recommending, but have tried searching forums for how to create a child theme and did not find info on it.

    Looking forward to your response.
