Fix e-mail notifications

Hi. I am wondering if someone can help me figure out how can I change the e-mail notifications. The first test ad I posted I received a nice e-mail saying "Hi %user name%, Thank you for your recent submission!", followed by the ad information. Something was changed and now every time I post an ad it treats it like a transaction and I receive the following message: "Hello %user name%, This email confirms that you have purchased the following items" I am not selling anything on my website so this is pretty wrong. SO, where do I go to fix outgoing e-mails?
