FR/EN language selection ?

Hello

After many tests, I can not integrate the French language site.

I would like ( if this are possible ) have 2 language selection ( english and french ). If no way only save french one.

Thats the step i did already:

"-Find and download the WordPress language pack and unzip it.
- Create a new folder called Expired "languages" in your / wp-content / folder
- Move the file into your new pt_BR.mo / wp-content/languages ​​/ folder
- Edit your wp-config.php file and paste in define ('WPLANG', 'pt_FR');
- Go and view your WordPress admin area. Everything shoulds now be working!"

I also would like translate my dashboard in french.

I know there are already many posts and tutorial for it, but im really no-good in server step/php etc...
