    How to remove html ability in user profile 'about me'

    Hello. I have really tried to find a direct answer to my issue with no luck. Many threads came close but no direct answer for me.

    To the point. In testing all possible functions of my site before official launch I came across an unwanted feature.

    When a user goes to the edit profile page. They have the ability to insert HTML code into the about me section, which appears as a live link to other users. When this link is clicked it takes members out of my site.

    I want to keep the about me section but remove the ability to insert HTML code which will deter spammers. This may be a simple fix, but I'm a newbie.
