Image Thumb Way To Big - Overlaps Onto Text

I am having an issue with the thumb size on the as listing page. The thumbnails overlap onto the text of the listing. I have to re size the image outside of Classipress before the image will look somewhat OK. I have not modded the theme in anyway that will effect the image sizes, and I do not want to re-install the theme and do all the work involved to 33 cities I have!! ( multi ) I would like this issue fixed or at least instructions please on how to make sure when people upload a 400 x 100 small banner, it will not overlap into the text fields of the listing.
