Migration from old version to new version

Hi,

I had got a classified site build using a developer online. While i thank him for introducing me to classipress, i have now purchased my own license for the latest release

Current ClassiPress Version installed: 3.1.9

I now want to migrate this to the latest version in have downloaded 3.3.1 .


I have done lots of customization on my site so wanted to know what is the best way to migrate the site. I also want to build this whole new version locally first so that i can test it before pushiing it on the live site.

Appreciate if someone can write back on the steps they have followed or something i can follow.
