    Moving CP from one host to another

    Greeting to all,
    I am sure I have missed this answer in all my searches but I did try so please excuse.. I currently have my CP installation at Siteground. Now that I am satisified that CP will meet my needs I am moving my domain to new host, probably Host Gator. After reading the posts, I tried this test.... I logged into another (seperate) domain I have on Siteground and did a fresh WP install. I did an export from my old site (xml file) and imported it into the new installation. It appears as if is up an running and it all looks fine.
    Is this all there is to it?? Seems way too simple
    I just want to be sure since once I transfer the domain, I obviously won't have access to my old files.
