Are Original images stored or deleted
Wanted to know if I have max image upload size 4MB in CP settings, and if someone uploads 5 images of 4MB each (that means 20MB), how does CP store the images ?
It will create thumbnails, mid-size and large size images out of it. But will it store the original images of 4MB also ? If yes, thats bit scary. That means if I have 1000 people uploading 20MB images in a year it would consume around 2GB space.
There is a plugin named resize-at-upload, that helps to resize the images on the fly so that only smaller sized images are stored. Has anyone tried this with CP 3.3 ?
