Place an Ad - location of item outside US - list of states

Hello,
When placing an ad on my Classifieds site, the list of states remains that for the USA, even though I've changed the Country to Australia.
Because of this the system shows and error and won't permit continuing with the rest of the ad.
This is also the case in the Demo version of Classifieds on AppThemes.
Can anyone help?

There may be an answer to this, however the search function does not reveal it (for me anyway).

Appreciate any kind assistance.
