Post New Ad - Sub Categories Missing

Hmm, Not sure what happened here. I did not make any changes that I recall, but I did let Wordpress upgrade some of the plugins.
When I go to "Post an Ad", I click the dropdown and select a category. That is as far as it gets. Not sub-categories show up. It almost seems as if it is not posting back after selecting the category. Not sure where to look for any problem. Any suggestions?
Follow up: I deactivated all plugins with no change.
