Re-installing Classipress version 3.1.6

I have had troubles with posting an ad (Classipress version 3.1.6, Wordpress version 3.3.1) because the auto-generated "Go" will work for a while and then it doesn't work anymore. To rule out any possibility that I have made some error in editing the php I re-activated an old theme for my website, deleted the classipress theme and then re-installed it (after clearing my cache) and activated it... and the same problem still occurs! Strangely it also adds in my old categories and I can't figure out why. I have used FTP software to hard delete it as well as just deleting the theme in the Wordpress admin dashboard... cleared my cache, and then re-installed it again... still same problems. Can someone help?
