Search box only shows results from ad listings (I want to search blog etc)

Hi folks.

This was kinda highlighted after I installed a plugin (since deleted) that allowed me to create a knowledgebase on my site.
They had a built in search feature which allowed you to search the knowledge base.

However when ever I used the search box it wouldn't show me any results from the knowledgebase ONLY from the ad listings.

This plugin is not longer installed.
But I thought I'd check something out -

Theres no way to search the blog or posts / pages on the site.
The search feature ONLY searched the ad listings.

Is it not possible to add a search box? or Widget that allows us to search any that ISN'T ad_listings?
