Searching
Hi,
I know this has been touched on before, but I haven't yet found a satisfactory answer.
We'll talk about the home-page here, with the main search bar, followed by the category search box.
The category search box is fine. No need to worry about that one. But the main search bar? I reckon it needs dumping as it's out of time and so 18th century, as theres a good chance that if a user comes along and searches for something that isn't tagged, then 'no results' will be displayed.
This is why I feel that the main search bar should be replaced. The category drop-down search box should be moved to the left, to replace the main search bar, and something like a Location Search should be placed on the right. Meaning that now, a user could search for - The category - in - The location - without running into a 'no results found' message just because his search term isn't included in a list of 'ad-tags'.
Well thats my take on it.
Is it possible to set up the above scenario as it is now, or failing that, is there a plugin that would do the job?
