    Shortcode in pre-defined ad blocks

I am using a plugin called Ad Blocking Detector by John Morris (http://adblockingdetector.jtmorris.net/)
This uses shortcodes, in pages. posts and probably also widgets (I didn't try) it works fine.
However when I enter the shortcode into the 468x60 banner field in the default Classipress theme, it simply prints the shortcode at the front end instead of the ad code or the message that an ad blocker was detected.
How do I get around this problem)
I also would to get it into the 338 x something or whatever it is ad field.
Where and how do I do I that?
