Translate Classipress into german

Hello,

i recently bought ClassiPress and tried to enable the theme language pack for german language. I followed this guide https://docs.appthemes.com/tutorials...anguage-files/ step by step.
But the language stayed english.

Doublechecked everything but cant find the error.
Could it be, cause the theme language pack is for version 4.1 and im using 4.2? If so: Can i just translate the english langue pack? And is there a guide on where to put the translation?

The entrys on the english pack look like that:

msgid "Oops! That page can't be found."
msgstr ""

Does the translation go between the "" on the msgstr line?
