    upgrade to 3.1.7 question about changes in documentation

    Ok guys,

    I have latest version ready to instal , but would like to know if my child theme will still work.
    It says in documentation any changes made to past will be reset to new, and i dont really want that to happen.
    i havent changed any core stuff related, all i have changed is my own css through a tutorial from seth and my logo, i made one alteration on index which is in my child directory aswell so my tabnavs are the other way round.

    Basically will this effect my child theme,

    will this effect if i upgrade at all please.
