I used Classipress on a site that was earlier using another theme,Now problem is that

I used Classipress on a site that was earlier using another theme. Now, problem is that i am not able to get blog posts. whenever any blog post is opened it shows page not found error. Even when i create a new page it says the same again..other themes are working fine,,but getting problem with this classipress..

i am rying Classipress 3.3.2 ...with a little older WP version (not too old though)

I think the problem must be with permalinks/ ht.access or something else...but where there is not any problem with other themes? prhaps because they don't have any custom post option like Classipress...i am confused and tried 10 times but unable to get it working..PLZ help me asap!!
