Affiliate link won't work when coupon is clicked

I have installed skimlinks on my site and everything seems to be working fine form their end.

If I click on the store URL, the click is tracked successfully, however if I do so by clicking a coupon link the click is not tracked and there is no affiliate link.

Is there a way to resolve this? My instinct tells me two things:

1) The fact that the code is flash is causing a problem - can this be changed?

2) The link goes to the coupon page THEN onto the store. Could this be causing a problem? and if so can I change this?
