Error 403 and other redirection issues
Okay, I originally posted this in the wrong area, so I am reposting it here in the help Job Roller section. Sorry folks, for any confusion.
OK, read thru some stuff, thought this was going to be an easy thing. Backup the site, backup the .htaccess files, changed the permissions CHMOD to 777 and I still get issues .... so let's start from when I log in and then go to the
wp-admin link in the sidebar. I get the dreaded "403 Forbidden" message (again). Looking at the top of the browser/URL location, I see that its not really directing properly:
http://www.canadiannorthwestjobs.com...%2Fwp-admin%2F.
I edited it to (domain name)/
wp-admin/ and I am in. But the problem persists every time I click on a link such as add a page, add a post. I am able to do more when adding a post by using the wordpress (left) sidebar, but when I post, the 403 Error page comes up.
My domain name is
www.canadiannorthwestjobs.com. I use hostgator for hosting, not sure what additional information you may need. I am able to do limited things, like appearance and menus, but this problem has persisted since I installed it. Any suggestions?
