Manual update/upgrade Jobroller
Can anyone provide a step-by-step way to manually upgrade without modifying the changes I have made to several of the files via the editor (footer, archive-resume, etc.) and by making changes offline and FTPing them? I wouldn't necessarily know all the changes I've made as I didn't keep a record of them. I need a way to automatically upgrade or update Jobroller as the new versions come out. In this case, I'm using a quite modified version of pro-blue.css. I have looked at the child theme and functions php replacement but it is going beyond my technical knowledge. I just want to be able to safely update my theme without having to retrace all previous steps, when the updates become available. Is there another way, with a patch, perhaps? Or can the theme be provided to us with the child theme already in place so we only recreate the customization once?
