Spanish Translation setup

I installed Worpress in spanish from the official site, now I want to install the Spanish translation of JobRoller 1.4 (the latest spanish available) over the 1.6.1, I know is possible since you said that on the pre sales forum.

So, I already have the the es_ES.mo and the es_ES.po files in the /wp-content/languages folder, and I replace those with the ones of the translation zip but all of the text remains in english. The wp-config.php file has the correct configuration also define('WPLANG', 'es_ES');

I'm I missing something?
