Trouble translating top right menu

Hi,

I have translated Jobroller into a second language but I'm having trouble with the top right menu. No matter what I do, it always points to the relevant pages in my second language. My default language is English and the text displays correctly for all links ( "Submit a job" - Login/Register or, if already logged in, "Submit a Job" - "Browse Resumes" - "My Dashboard" - "Logout"). However, all those links will point to the relevant page in the second language. Once I have arrived at the page in the second language, I can click the English flag and it takes me to the English version of that page so the pages are definitely there and work correctly.

Could you please help with this? Why is the top right menu handled so differently, I don't see why we can't just control this through a menu/widget...
