    Categories Page doesn't show drop down menu

    So I have somehow managed to break the auto magic categories menu that appears in the drop down.

    How does this work exactly?

    My site can be viewed here: http://fasno.s54.ok.ubc.ca/wordpress/

    The 'directory' page is a page that has it's template set to category list but I also wanted to show the categories on the home page so I set the template to category list on that page as well. Now it looks like the menu is flying out for the homepage but not for the directory page. Can I reverse this behavior?
