Custom Homepage Template
How do I create a completely custom homepage template?
I am having a hard time finding the master page to change code on. index.php is the blog homepage, so I have no idea what file to modify.
I want to do some custom work outside the content loop, and cannot find where that would be.
I want to do custom navigation and add something where the map currently goes, which appears to be between header.php and the loop, but I have no idea what file controls that section.
I would ideally like to code a static homepage from scratch. What would I start with?
