    Customizing Widgets - changes are not being saved

    After customizing an ad (Appearance--Widgets--Manage in Customizer) the ad changes to what I have customized, BUT then as soon as I close the Customizer it goes back to the default ad. I have tried this several times with the same result. Please help!
