Google Maps - no places/sugestions

Hello,

Yesterday, I installed Vantage with the following settings:

--- SETTINGS ---

[A] Vintage Geo-settings:

"Geocoder - Google" tab
> General Information: Google Maps, us, en, miles, 10, API Key
> Business Geocoder: Client ID, Private Key

"Map Provider - Google" tab
> us, en, miles, API Key

[B] Vintage Appearance -Widgets:

Single Listing Sidebar > Vantage - Single Listing/Event Map
List Page Top Sidebar > Vantage - Multiple Listings/Events Map

[C] Google API

API Services - running:
> Geocoding API
> Google Maps JavaScript v3 API
> Places API

"Client ID for Web Applications" - Browser Key
> Client ID
> Client Secret
> Redirect URIs: https://www.iweeper.com/oauth2callback
> JavaScript origins: https://www.iweeper.com

Note: For Redirect URIs and JS Origins - first, at this time I do not have a SSL certificate installed on my site so HTTPS should not work. If I leave either of these two fields blank it seems it does not make any difference. I also tried HTTP but no difference either. Not sure if I should leave it blank or not.

"Simple API Access" - Browser Key
> API Key
> Referers: Any Referer Allowed

Note: If I specify www.iweeper.com I get an error stating that "Google has disabled use of the Maps API for this application."

"Notification Endpoints"
> Allowed Domains: No Domains Allowed

--- ISSUE ---

At this time I have only one business listing on my site which is AppTheme and one WP event. Both of them shows on the Google map and I am able to search them in the Search. That said, if I try to search for example for "Restaurants" near by "New York", I do not get any results back. Please correct me if I am wrong, but I thought the reason to use Google's Places API is to get business/POI listings that Google has already.

1) Is my assumption wrong about Places API?
2) What should be the Google API settings for Redirect URIs and JS Origins?
3) Why Google disabled Maps API is I specify Referer as my domain name?
