How to add more space/pixels above first advert

Inside the text widget (in the "Header" sidebar), I've added the text 'Sponsor of the Month'.

This has pushed the advert down, and it seems be getting "chopped off" at the bottom: http://screencast.com/t/STAiAyG8P2

I've tried almost everything via CSS: .row, .container, .advert, max-height, bottom-padding, etc, but I still can't get the 70px limit on the advert to increase.

Do I need to make this change in a different file?

If not, what am I missing via CSS?

Thanks so much! I just need about 10 more pixels
